Jammin

One of the fun things we squeezed in this summer was strawberry picking and jam making. This was both Lincoln and Asa's first time and they did quite well. More berries ended up in Lincolns mouth than his bucket but we still got enough to bring home. We made our trip bright and early (for us) so I could get back in time for my 10:30 work meeting. 

I have made strawberry jam once before several years ago with my moms help. And after missing strawberry season last year because of work, I was determined to get some jam made for this year. Lincoln actually did help wash the strawberries. Again, more probably ended up in his mouth than washed in the bowl.. but he did help. And it was pretty cute.
