Micah's Birthday

Saturday was Micah's birthday and we had planned to go to the Cities for the Vikings preseason game. Thanks to my mom for playing with Lincoln all day so we could go. And thanks to our little friend Asa for being such a trooper and coming with us.

Micah and I love shopping together. We hit up some stores and he got some new tennis shoes and I got a new lamp.

The trip really did go quite well and we did have a lot of fun. But somehow we always end up with some sort of problems. Like stumbling across a Chic-fil-A, jackpot. But then somehow puncturing our pop with the fry container... pop shooting everywhere all over our car. I know it sounds ridiculous but the foam cups and the sharp edged fry containers are just a bad combination. Don't get my wrong, the chicken was amazing but they could seriously reconsider their fry/cup combination. Or perhaps we could just a be a bit smarter.

No photos were taken of this disaster because we were too busy driving around the parking lot in circles and spilling pop everywhere. Good grief.

Parking and getting to the stadium was also a mess. But we got there safely and I supposes, it could have always been worse. But I hope we are slowly learning our lessons.. and will be arriving 4 hours early for any major sporting event from now on.

At least the scenery was pretty as we sat in traffic for two hours.

Stress? We laugh at stress! ... not.

Finally made it to the game!

Who brings a baby to a football game!?

However, if you are planning on bringing a baby to a football game, I should warn you. Stadiums are not really baby friendly. Unless you enjoy nursing your baby in a disgusting, hot bathroom stall. We're still alive... moving on.

Beautiful night!

This little guy did so good.

Happy birthday Honey. Thank you so much for all you do for our family. My husband, counselor, and best friend. We love you!
